Financial Information Research Provider Morningstar to Reduce Hundreds of 1,000 People in China Shenzhen, China Unit to Focus on China Market

Financial information research provider Morningstar has announced plans to reduce hundreds of its 1,000 Morningstar workforce in in China Shenzhen, with the China workforce to focus on the China market while the some of the workforce will be relocated to Mumbai, Madrid, Toronto & Chicago. Morningstar: “Some staff will be transferred in the coming months to Mumbai, Toronto, Madrid, or Chicago – its global headquarters.” Morningstar is a leading provider of independent investment research in North America, Europe, Australia & Asia and was founded in 1984 by Joe Mansueto.
