$508 Billion MFS Investment Appoints Pilar Gomez-Bravo & Alexander Mackey as Fixed Income Co-Chief Investment Officers, Joins Current CIO Bill Adams in Managing $94 Billion Fixed-Income Assets

MFS Investment Management (MFS) with $508 billion AUM (Assets under Management) and managing $94 billion in fixed income, has appointed Pilar Gomez-Bravo and Alexander Mackey as MFS Investment Fixed-Income Co-Chief Investment Officers (31/3/23), joining current Fixed-Income CIO Bill Adams. MFS Investment: “Pilar Gomez-Bravo joined MFS in 2013, with more than 25 years of experience, has been instrumental in establishing the firm’s London-based fixed income team. She is a portfolio manager on several fixed income strategies and serves on investment committees and working groups across asset classes. Alexander Mackey had began his career in 1998 with MFS and in 2001 joined the firm’s Fixed Income Department, where he has worked as both an analyst and portfolio manager. During his tenure, he has helped guide the firm’s US high-grade corporate credit research process and portfolio management efforts.” MFS Fixed-Income Co-CIOs Adams, Gomez-Bravo and Mackey will report to MFS Chief Investment Officer Ted Maloney. In 1924, MFS launched the first US open‐end mutual fund, opening the door to the markets for millions of everyday investors. As of 30th September 2022, MFS manages around $508.7 billion in assets under management.
