Pharmaceutical giant Amgen with $122 billion in market capitalization (17/3/23) had been sued in United States federal court by a Detroit pension fund for hiding $10.7 billion in back-taxes (United States Internal Revenue Service). The case was filed in Manhattan on Monday (13/3/23) by Roofers Local No. 149 Pension Fund against Amgen, CEO Robert Bradway and CFO Peter Griffith (Case 1:23-cv-02138-ER).
