BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager with $8.59 trillion AUM (Assets under Management), has hired Goldman Sachs Nicholas Peach as BlackRock Head of APAC Markets & Investments for iShares & Index Investments (effective May 2023). Nicholas Peach joins BlackRock from Goldman Sachs after more than 16 years, where he was most recently Goldman Sachs Head of APAC Equities Electronic Services (Leading client coverage, product development, engineering, execution consultation & execution risks teams across 7 markets in APAC), and prior, Goldman Sachs Head of Algo Development Micro Franchise Strategy Group (Design & implementation of multiple projects). BlackRock: “Based in Hong Kong, Nicholas will be responsible for leading the APAC iShares Markets and Index Investments team in its mission of delivering superior market quality ETFs for our clients across the region, the investment management of portfolios, and supporting the positive evolution of the indexing industry and ETF markets.”
