The former Chief of China Hangzhou Zhou Jiangyong had received a 2-year suspended death sentence for receiving $27.9 million in bribes to help obtain contracts & land, and will receive a life sentence if no further crimes are committed within 2 years.  All of Zhou Jiangyong’s assets will be confiscated.  Hangzhou is the headquarter of Jack Ma’s Alibaba Group and the 9th largest city by GDP in China.  More info below.
