China copper giant Maike Metals Chairman & founder He Jinbi had been reported to be missing, with Maike Metals currently under multiple lawsuits including $147 million by Dutch Bank ING for amount owed by trading subsidiary Triway International.  In July 2023, Dutch Bank ING filed a Hong Kong $147 million lawsuit against China biggest copper trading giant Maike Metals Chairman & founder He Jinbi (26/6/23), for amount of $147 million owed by trading subsidiary Triway International.  In 2023 January, Dutch bank ING had filed a lawsuit in Hong Kong against China ICBC (Industrial & Commercial Bank of China) for $170 million in copper deal losses in which ICBC had released copper export documents without receiving payments, causing ING client Triway International losses (sold copper, but no payment received) and ICBC client and Triway counterpart Maike (China biggest copper trader) currently seeking restructuring to emerge from liquidity crisis.  In 2023 January, China state-owned Xiamen Xinde filed a lawsuit against Maike for contract delivery and repayment of money owed.  More info below:
