BNP Paribas Asset Management has hired Manulife Investment Management Peggy Lee as Hong Kong CEO & Chief Marketing Officer APAC (8/11/23), succeeding Guillaume Wehry who is relocating to Europe (BNP Paribas).  Peggy Lee joins from Manulife Investment Management where she was the Global Head of Retail Marketing & Chief Marketing Officer Asia, and has 20 years of experience in the financial industry including at HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank & Allianz Global Investors.  Peggy Lee will report to Mike Nikou (BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Pacific CEO) and Paul Van Eynde (BNP Paribas Asset Management Global Chief Marketing Officer).  Mike Nikou, BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Pacific CEO: “Peggy Lee brings a wealth of experience of the investment, asset and wealth management industry and an excellent understanding of the regional and Hong Kong markets.  “This senior appointment is in line with our ambition to reinforce and accelerate our asset management business across the wholesale distribution space in the region.”
