31st January 2024 – Clarification on Wisdom Capital Management – We have been alerted to a company called “Wisdom Capital Management” that claims to be an asset management firm. On their website, their alleged Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer, “Chris Brown”, and their alleged Partner, “Jasper Lim”, claim to be former Temasek employees. These statements are false. Neither “Chris Brown” nor “Jasper Lim” is, or has ever been, employed by Temasek. “Wisdom Capital Management” is not associated with Temasek in any way. The contents of the website, including the identities and biographies of “Chris Brown” and “Jasper Lim”, have not been verified or authenticated by Temasek. Please exercise caution when dealing with this company, and with any individuals claiming to be “Chris Brown” and “Jasper Lim” that purport to have been formerly employed by Temasek. If you have relied on this false information to make investments, we recommend you report the matter to your police. Temasek does not assume or accept any responsibility for any transactions conducted with or by this entity.
17th January 2024 – Deepfake video of Temasek senior executive promoting “Chain Wizard AI” – We are aware of deepfake videos circulating on Facebook that show Dilhan Pillay, Temasek’s Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, promoting a cryptocurrency platform called “Chain Wizard AI”. Neither Temasek nor Dilhan is associated with “Chain Wizard AI” or the Facebook page “Temasek ai” in any way. The videos are part of a deliberate misinformation campaign and are digitally manipulated to mislead viewers. If you have relied on this false information to make investments, we recommend you report the matter to your local police authorities. Please be cautious of such impersonations and deepfake videos, which are proliferating on social media platforms. Temasek does not assume or accept any responsibility for statements or transactions purportedly issued or done in its name.
16th January 2024 – Clarification regarding “Zhejiang Temasek” – We have been alerted to a company with the name “Zhejiang Temasek Equity Investment Co., Ltd.” (浙江淡马锡股权投资有限公司, or “Zhejiang Temasek”) that is registered in China. This entity is neither part of Temasek, nor is it related to Temasek in any way. Temasek does not assume nor accept responsibility for any transactions conducted with or by this entity.
