Former United States President Donald Trump Wins New York Court Appeal to Apply for Loans to Post $454 Million Bond But Loses Appeal to Pay $100 Million instead of $454 Million for New York Court Judgement in Civil Business Fraud by Inflating Assets & Net Worth to Obtain Financial Incentives

3rd March 2024 | Hong Kong

Former United States President Donald Trump has won a New York court appeal to apply for loans to post the $454 million bond but loses appeal to pay $100 million instead of $454 million for the New York court judgement in civil business fraud by inflating assets & net worth to obtain financial incentives.  Donald Trump is expected to submit more filings to appeal paying the $454 million bond.  In February 2024, a United States New York court has ordered former United States President Donald Trump to pay $454 million for civil business fraud by inflating assets & net worth to obtain financial incentives, and banned from running business in New York for 3 years.  The verdict was given by a New York judge without jury.  The $454 million fine comprises of $354,868,768 in disgorgement and $98.6 million in prejudgment interest (Accrue 9% p.a.), with both his children Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr ordered to pay $4 million each (included in the total fine) and banned in New York for 2 years.  Earlier in January 2024, Donald Trump (Age 77) had been ordered to pay $83.3 million after losing a social media defamation lawsuit in New York filed by 80-year-old E. Jean Carroll.  In 2023, Donald Trump was found guilty for sexual abuse but not rape of E. Jean Carroll 28 years ago in 1996 in a department store dressing room.  Donald Trump claimed not to know E. Jean Carroll.  In 2022, New York state (United States) changed the law to remove the legal time limit on sexual assault lawsuit.  In 2019, E. Jean Carroll had written her rape claim against Donald Trump in her book – “What Do We Need Men For?.”  E. Jean Carroll is a journalist & author, and was in Elle magazine (Ask E. Jean column) from 1993 to 2019.   In November 2023, former United States President Donald Trump fortune had increased from $2.6 billion to $3.1 billion.  In September 2023, the New York attorney general had submitted a court filing claiming United States Ex-President Donald Trump overstated his net worth by $1.9 billion to $3.6 billion yearly between 2011 to 2021 to obtain better loan terms & manipulate taxes for Trump Organization.  Donald Trump is running for the United States 2024 Republican Presidential Nomination but faces around 100 criminal charges in 4 cases.  Earlier in August 2023, Donald Trump appeared in court (Washington DC) for an arraignment hearing for conspiracy to overturn United States 2020 Presidential Election result, pleading not guilty for 4 charges and with the United States Presidential Election taking place in 2024.  The 4 charges are 1) Conspiracy to defraud the United States 2) Conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, 3) Obstruction of an official proceeding 4) Conspiracy against the rights of citizens.   More info below:
