HSBC has hired Citigroup 17-year veteran Gilbert Ng as Head of Global Banking (GB) Singapore (2/5/24), succeeding Priya Kini who was appointed as HSBC Head of Commercial Banking Singapore in January 2024. HSBC (2/5/24): “HSBC today announced the appointment of Gilbert Ng as Head of Global Banking (GB) for Singapore, effective 2nd May 2024. Mr Ng succeeds Ms Priya Kini who has taken on a new role early this year as Head of Commercial Banking, Singapore. Prior to joining HSBC, Mr Ng was Head of Corporate Banking, Singapore, at Citigroup. With over 17 years at Citigroup, he has extensive corporate finance and risk management experience as well as a strong client network that spans across local large corporates, public sector, financial institutions, and multinationals in Singapore.”
