A South Korea man Kim Taek Hoon (Age 63) in Singapore has been charged for money laundering & cheating including using criminal proceeds to buy $1.1 billion (S$1.5 billion) of 1 kg of gold bars which is around 28,000 gold bars, smuggling the cash by providing false shipping information from South Korea & Japan between 2014 to 2017 and cheating Singapore Customs & logistics companies including DHL Express & Pantos Logistics.  Kim Taek Hoon is alleged to have received $23 million (S$31 million) in benefits.
