Major League Baseball (MLS) star & Dominican Republic Juan Soto (Juan José Soto Pacheco, Age 26) has signed a record $765 million 15-year contract with Major League Baseball team New York Mets from rivals New York Yankees who had raised their offer to S$760 million for 16 years. Juan Soto will also receive a $75 million signing bonus, and contract value will increase to $805 million if New York Mets disallow Juan Soto to exercise opt out right after the 2029 season. Juan Soto had helped Washington Nationals win the 2019 World Series, joined San Diego Padres in 2022 and traded to New York Yankees in 2023.
