The United States luxury developer Alexico Group has been reported to have received a $1 billion offer to buy The Mark Hotel in New York. The Mark Hotel Penthouse is $45,000 per night. The Mark Hotel building was constructed in 1927, and acquired by Alexico Group & Simon Elias in 2006. The Mark Hotel interiors were designed by France designer Jacques Grange in 2009. Alexico Group is a leader in luxury residential and hotel development with commitment to high architecture and design. Development partners Izak Senbahar and Simon Elias collectively have over 50 years of experience in the fields of development, construction, property ownership and management of Manhattan residential real estate. Their portfolio has included some of New York’s most prestigious properties, establishing them as leaders in their field with a commitment to design excellence, as evidenced in such acclaimed developments as The Mark by Jacques Grange, 165 Charles Street by Richard Meier, The Laurel by Costas Kondylis, Grand Beekman and 353 Central Park West, among others.
