Hang Seng Investment Management ($43 billion AUM) has hired ex-Barclays Global Investors 10-year veteran Paul So as Chief Investment Officer (2/5/25). Paul So has more than 26 years of investment management experience including at Mercer, Barclays Global Investors, Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) & FTLife Insurance and held senior roles including as Chief Investment Officer, Head of Investment Management, Head of Index Funds APAC & Head of Portfolio Management Asia ex-Japan. Profile – Hang Seng Investment Management Limited (HSVM) was incorporated in Hong Kong with limited liability in April 1993. HSVM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hang Seng Bank Limited (the “Bank”) and is the investment arm of the Bank. HSVM provides investment management services to the Bank and the Bank’s customers and has extensive experience in managing funds (including a series of retail funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs)), investment portfolios for institutional and private clients. As of 07 Apr 2025, HSVM manages a total of 48 ETFs and retail funds out of which 30 are index or index related products. Among the products managed by HSVM 14 of them are ETFs, including Tracker Fund of Hong Kong.
