Zurich Insurance Group China has paid $19.7 million (CNY 141.28 million) in insurance commercial liability policy for a China manufacturer causing a United States 6-year-old boy stomach damages in 2022 July after swallowing battery from an air-con remote control from the manufacturer. The final settlement of $40 million was agreed between the family & the China manufacturer.
