Singapore investor group DRC Investments (Wing Tai Holdings, Teo Family & Hwa Hong Corp) has completed the $400 million (S$514 million) acquisition of Singapore-listed hotel & property group Amara Holdings, and will be delisted on 21st July 2025. Amara Holdings key holdings include hotels & resorts in Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, and commercial & shopping development in Singapore (100 AM Malls & 100 AM Offices). Amara Holdings residential property projects in Singapore include Sanctuary@Newton, The Abode@Devonshire, 10 Evelyn, M5, Killiney 118, The Linear, CityLife@Tampines & Bedok Avenue. Amara Holdings was founded in 1970 by the Teo family as Teo Teck Huat Enterprises. Amara Holdings – Amara Holdings Limited is an integrated lifestyle group principally engaged in three business areas – hotel investment and management, property investment and development, and specialty restaurants and food services. It is headquartered in Singapore and operates in Singapore, Thailand and China.
