France billionaire Emmanuel Besnier family with $28 billion fortune diary giant Lactalis has announced to buy Fonterra consumer & associated businesses for $2.2 billion (NZD 3.8 billion). Fonterra Cooperative Group is the world’s largest exporter of diary products, headquartered in New Zealand. Lactalis was founded in 1933 by André Besnier. Lactalis Chairman Emmanuel Besnier is 3rd generation family member.
