Hong Kong-listed China-based Shengjing Bank has received a $1.49 billion (HKD 11.6 billion) buyout offer from the largest shareholder (Shenyang Shengjing Financial Holding Investment) which has around 37.23% shareholding (Including affiliates), representing +15.8% premium to closing price (14/8/25).  Shenyang City Commercial Bank was renamed to Shengjing Bank in 2007, and IPO on Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) in 2014.  Shengjing Bank current market value at $1.43 billion, with share price +6.7% YTD, +86.7% last 12 months & -82.1% last 5 years.  Shengjing Bank – Shengjing Bank, headquartered in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, was formerly known as Shenyang City Commercial Bank. In February 2007, it was approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission and renamed Shengjing Bank. It is a state-owned city commercial bank in Shenyang. It was successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on December 29, 2014 (stock code: 02066).  Currently, Shengjing Bank has 18 branches in cities including Shenyang, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Changchun, and Dalian. It has established three specialized branches: a fund operations center, a credit card center, and a small business financial services center. It has also established two subsidiaries: Shengyin Consumer Finance Co., Ltd. and Shengyin Digital Technology (Shenyang) Co., Ltd. With a total of over 200 operating branches, it effectively covers the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, and Northeast China, and is able to fully meet the comprehensive financial service needs of corporate, institutional, and individual customers.
