Sim Siew Moon has 40 years of tax experience including at Baker Tilly, EY, KPMG & Arthur Anderson, and served on boards including at the Tax Academy of Singapore, Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals & Singapore Ministry of Finance Income Tax Board of Review. Sim Siew Moon – Sim Siew Moon is a Senior Partner at Baker Tilly. She has over 40 years of experience in the area of taxation and currently heads the Tax Team in Baker Tilly. Siew Moon holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) degree from the National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (“FCA”) of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (“ISCA”), Fellow Certified Public Accountant (“FCPA”) of CPA Australia, and an Accredited Tax Advisor (“ATA”) for Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. Baker Tilly (3/1/23): “Baker Tilly announced today the admission of Sim Siew Moon as Senior Partner and Head of Tax. Siew Moon brings with her 38 years of experience in the area of taxation. She was the Head of Tax in a Big 4 international accounting firm in Singapore before assuming the Asia Pacific Tax Policy and Controversy Leader role in the firm. Siew Moon holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First class honours) degree from the National University of Singapore. She is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Fellow Certified Public Accountant of CPA Australia, and an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax) with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.
