25th June – Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management ($249 billion AUM) has announced to acquire BNP Paribas Monaco wealth management clients and forming a strategic business partnership with BNP Paribas Group to provide long-term support to Monaco clients with wealth management solutions.  BNP Paribas Monaco continues to provide corporate banking, private banking & retail banking.  Announcement (23/6/25): “ Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, announces that its entity in Monaco, CFM Indosuez, has signed an agreement to acquire the Wealth Management clients of the BNP Paribas Group subsidiary in Monaco.  This acquisition would enable Indosuez Wealth Management to assert its leading position on the Monegasque market in which it has been present since 1922.  The BNP Paribas Group’s Wealth Management clients in Monaco will benefit from continuity in the support they receive. They will benefit from the local presence of experts with recognised know-how. They will have access to one of the most comprehensive services on the market, resulting in particular from the universal nature of CFM Indosuez’s offer in the Principality and its position as a leading bank. 11th April 2025 – Credit Agricole Indosuez Wealth Management ($240 billion AUM) has announced to buy Switzerland wealth management bank Banque Thaler ($3.7 billion AUM).  Banque Thaler was founded in 1982 & became independent in 1999Announcement (4/4/25): “Indosuez Wealth Management, a subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, has announced that its entity in Switzerland has signed an agreement to purchase the entire capital of Banque Thaler, a Swiss banking institution recognised for the excellence of its services and its long-term expertise in wealth management.   This acquisition is fully in line with Indosuez Wealth Management’s development strategy, strengthening its position in the Swiss market, the global hub for wealth management, where Indosuez has been present since 1876. Banque Thaler, founded in 1982, is renowned for the excellence of its services and its long-term expertise in wealth management.  With this acquisition, Banque Thaler and Indosuez clients will have access to a broader range of products and expertise. 6th December 2024 – Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed 23-year Credit Agricole veteran Laurent Proutiere as CEO Asia & Singapore Branch Manager (1st March 2025), succeeding Omar Shokur.  Laurent Proutiere had held senior leadership roles at Credit Agricole including as Head of Corporate Planning APAC, Head of Investor Initiatives APAC, CEO Taipei Branch & currently Head of International Trade & Transaction Banking APAC.  Indosuez is a subsidiary of Credit AgricoleAnnouncement (4/12/24): “Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, announced today the appointment of Laurent Proutière as Chief Executive Officer Asia and Singapore Branch Manager, effective 1 March 2025.    Based in Singapore, Laurent will drive the firm’s strategic growth and development strategy across Asia, further reinforcing the bank’s presence in the region. Laurent Proutier Profile – Laurent brings close to 30 years of experience gained in Europe and Asia across the financial services industry, of which more than 20 years were in Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB).   His most recent role before being appointed Asia CEO of Indosuez was Head of International Trade and Transaction Banking for Asia-Pacific at Crédit Agricole CIB. Prior to that, he was Chief Executive Officer for Crédit Agricole CIB Taipei Branch.  Laurent began his career in 1998 working for the Equity Brokerage Division of Société Générale in Japan before joining Crédit Agricole Group in 2002. He joined the Credit Derivatives teams in London in 2007, and later the Asia Loan Syndication team in Hong Kong in 2012.
