HSBC Continental Europe CEO Andrew Wild is departing at the end of 2025 (31/12/25) for family reasons with HSBC Continental Europe Deputy CEO Christopher Davies to be appointed as interim CEO.  Andrew Wild joined HSBC 20 years ago in 2005 from KPMG, and held senior roles including as Global Head of Corporate, Business Banking & Products of Commercial Banking, Head of Commercial Banking for Europe and HSBC Continental Europe CEO (Appointed in 2021).  Andrew Wild Profile – HSBC Continental Europe’s mission is to serve customers in Europe for their needs worldwide and customers in other Group countries for their needs in Europe.  Andrew Wild joined the HSBC Group from KPMG in 2005 and was appointed in 2008 Deputy Head of Commercial Banking of HSBC in France. In 2011, he was appointed Global Head of Corporate, Business Banking and Products of Commercial Banking, HSBC Group, and in 2013, Global Head of Mid-Market and Business Banking of Commercial Banking, HSBC Group. Andrew was appointed Directeur Général Délégué, Deputy CEO of HSBC Continental Europe in 2015 and was Head of Commercial Banking in France from 2015 to 2018. He was Head of Commercial Banking, Europe in 2017 and Interim Global Head of Global Trade and Receivables Finance between January 2021 and July 2021, before becoming Chief Executive Officer, HSBC Continental Europe in July 2021.
