A Bangladesh court has sentenced ex-UK Minister Tulip Siddiq (Age 43) to 2-year jail term in corruption case for illegal allocation of land.  Tulip Siddiq is niece of ex-Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (Age 78), who is sentenced to 5-year jail term for the corruption case.  In 2025 November, the ex-Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (Age 78) was sentenced to 21-year jail term for corruption after recently alongside ex-Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal (Age 74) were sentenced to death for crackdown on student uprising in 2024 with 1,400 people estimated (By United Nations) to have been killed.  In 2025 November, the ex-Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (Age 78) & ex-Interior Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal (Age 74) have been sentenced to death for crackdown on student uprising in 2024 with 1,400 people estimated (By United Nations) to have been killed.  In 2024, Sheikh Hasina & Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal fled to India.  Sheikh Hasina was Bangladesh Prime Minister from 1996 to 2001 & from 2009 to 2024.  Sheikh Hasina is the daughter of Bangladesh Founding President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was assassinated in 1975 alongside most of his family members.  Bangladesh GDP is at around $460 billion with 174 million population.
