China home appliance giant Haier Smart Home ($34.3 billion market value) has announced to sell 49% stake in Haier India to India billionaire Sunil Mittal Bharti Enterprises & private equity firm Warburg Pincus ($85 billion AUM). Haier will retain 49% stake post-transaction & Haier India management team to own 2%. Haier Group – Established in 1984, Haier Group is a world-leading provider of solutions to better life.
