UK clean energy & technology company Octopus Energy Group has announced to sell stake in energy technology unit Kraken Technologies for $1 billion at $8.65 billion valuation, having announced spinoff plan in 2025 September.  Kraken investors include D1 Capital Partners, Fidelity International, Durable Capital Partners, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board & Origin Energy.  Octopus Energy Group – Octopus Energy is a global clean energy and technology business, driving the affordable, green energy system of the future.
