Japan Nomura ($26 billion market value) digital asset subsidiary Laser Digital has launched the upgraded actively managed tokenised Bitcoin-based fund (Bitcoin Diversified Yield Fund SP) from existing Bitcoin Adoption Fund (Launched 2023) for non-Non-United States institutional & accredited investors with minimum $250,000 subscription or Bitcoin-equivalent. The Bitcoin Diversified Yield Fund SP provides long-term & long-only exposure to Bitcoin and market-neutral strategies to generate yield for income. Laser Digital other actively managed funds include Laser Digital Carry Fund (LCF) & Multi Strategy Fund (MSF). Nomura (22/1/26): “The Asset Management division of Nomura’s digital assets subsidiary, Laser Digital, has announced the launch of its upgraded tokenised Bitcoin-based Fund for institutional and eligible accredited investors. The Bitcoin Diversified Yield Fund SP (“BDYF” or the “Fund”) combines growth and income strategies to generate a stream of excess returns on top of Bitcoin performance. Launched as an upgrade to the existing Bitcoin Adoption Fund (launched in 2023 well before the first Bitcoin ETFs), the Fund is the first of its kind natively tokenised Cayman BTC yield fund. Structurally, it is designed to offer a long-term, long-only exposure to Bitcoin, combined with, among others, diversified market-neutral strategies generating a yield as a stream of income. The Fund relies on tier-1 regulated service providers, with KAIO acting as exclusive tokenisation provider and Komainu acting as the main custodian of the Fund. The Bitcoin Diversified Yield Fund is among the actively managed funds by Laser Digital Asset Management, with the others being the Laser Digital Carry Fund (LCF) and the Multi Strategy Fund (MSF). For Accredited Investors Only – The Fund is open only to certain accredited investors in eligible jurisdictions (non-US), with a minimum subscription amount of US $250,000 in USD or BTC-equivalent.”
