Japan SBI Global Asset Management ($62 billion AUM) is planning to launch an American energy & utilities investment trust investing in shares of American energy & utilities companies via State Street ETFs with 0.2% annual trust fee, and targeting $644 million (JPY 100 billion) AUM in 3 years. SBI Global Asset Management – SBI Global Asset Management’s objective is to “provide rich and neutral information based on a fair and objective standpoint and helping investors build their assets”. To achieve this goal, SBI Global Asset Management believes that it is important to constantly improve and enhance the means of conveying intelligence while enhancing the quality and quantity of the information we provide, and it has promoted a variety of measures. As a result, SBI Global Asset Management provides a wide range of services. In the Financial Services Business, it operates “Wealth Advisor,” one of Japan’s leading financial information websites, and the smartphone app “My Investment Trust,” and provides “Kabushiki Shimbun Web,” the electronic newspaper specializing in securities, and website development services for financial institutions. For the Asset Management Business, it operates publicly offered open-end stock investment trusts and provides asset management services for regional financial institutions through SBI Asset Management. In order to strategically reorganize the Group for new challenges and leaps forward, as a holding company, SBI Global Asset Management will place Wealth Advisor, Co., Ltd. operating financial services business, SBI Asset Management, running a domestic asset management business, and Carret Asset Management LLC, an asset management business in the United States, under its umbrella from April 2023, for optimizing the allocation of the Group’s management resources, promptly respond to changes in the business environment, and strengthen governance in order to enhance company group’s corporate value. SBI Global Asset Management will continue to contribute to the asset building of investors through the two core businesses of the Financial Service Business and Asset Management Business.
