Hong Kong is reviewing to exempt tax for fund managers carried interest (Performance-based fee) to attract hedge funds & fund managers to be based in Hong Kong, with current Hong Kong performance bonus tax rate at 17%.  In 2026 March, Hong Kong was planning to expand tax incentives for asset managers, wealth managers & single family offices.  Hong Kong current tax-free incentive is available in carried interest (performance-based fee) for private equity investments.
