Julius Baer CEO Boris F.J. Collardi has resigned and will leave with immediate effect. The Board of Directors has appointed Bernhard Hodler, Chief Risk Officer as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
Bernhard Holder, currently the Chief Risk Officer of Julius Baer, was named deputy to the CEO in September 2017. He has been a member of Julius Baer’s senior executive team since 1998 and has held various senior positions, including Chief Operating Officer and President of the Management Committee of the Bank. No. 2 Ex-Julius Baer CEO Boris Collardi to Join Pictet as Managing Partner
Pictet Group has appointed Boris Collardi, ex-CEO of Julius Baer, to join the board of Partners with effect from mid-2018. He will be jointly responsible for Pictet’s global wealth management business, alongside Rémy Best, the managing Partner who has had sole charge of this division since December 2014.
Boris Collardi will join the existing six managing Partners, who are, in order of seniority, Nicolas Pictet, Renaud de Planta, Rémy Best, Marc Pictet, Bertrand Demole and Laurent Ramsey. He was previously the CEO of Julius Baer, where he joined in October 2009. Learn More …

UBS has appointed Winfried Gutmannsbauer as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for WM APAC with effect from 1st January 2018. He will report to Dirk Klee, UBS WM COO, Kathryn Shih, President UBS Asia Pacific and Edmund Koh, Head of UBS Wealth Management APAC. He succeeds Geoffroy de Ridder and Andreas Neuber.
