Singapore Exchange Appoints Koh Boon Hwee as Chairman in 2023, Kwa Chong Seng to Step Down after 6 Years

Singapore Exchange (SGX) has appointed Koh Boon Hwee as SGX new Chairman in 2023 (1/1/23), with current Chairman Kwa Chong Seng stepping down at the end of 2022 after 6 years as Chairman (23/9/16). Koh Boon Hwee is a senior corporate leader & entrepreneur, with extensive experience in listed & private companies including DBS Group, Singapore Airlines, SingTel, Wuthelam Group and Agilent Technologies. SGX Chairman (Outgoing) Kwa Chong Seng: “It has been, and continues to be, a privilege to serve alongside a dedicated Board and highly experienced and professional management team. In the past 10 years I have been on the Board, the Company has grown from strength to strength and is well-positioned to take on the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow. I look forward to handing over the reins next year to Boon Hwee, whom I am confident will lead SGX Group to even greater heights with his vast experience and extensive connections.”
