Citi Private Bank Hires UBS Veteran Keith Lee as Hong Kong HNW Market Manager, Focusing on Clients with More than $10 Million

Citi Private Bank has hired UBS private banking veteran Keith Lee as Citi Private Bank Hong Kong HNW Market Manager, focusing on clients more than $10 million (HNW ~ High net worth). Keith Lee has more than 25 years of wealth management & private banking experience (UBS, Bank of China, Citibank, ABN Amro Private Bank, Standard Bank Private Bank), with 16 years in UBS and last held the role of UBS Managing Director, Market Team Head. Citi Private Bank covers over 1,500 family offices globally with an average net worth of US$1.7 billion, including 25% of the world’s billionaires. Citi: “The High Net Worth (HNW) Segment has been identified as a high growth segment particularly in Asia given the prospects for wealth forecasted over the next few years. To lead and drive the growth of this business segment in HK & Greater China, we are delighted to have Keith join us. He will focus on this dynamic growth area by expanding staffing of Hong Kong HNW Banker team, overseeing the end-to-end expansion and ongoing management of this critical market segment.” Keith Lee will report to San-San Chan, who is Citi Private Bank High Net Worth Head for Asia-Pacific. Citi APAC ambition is to increase $150 billion AUM in Asia-Pacific by 2025.

Keith Lee has more than 25 years of wealth management & private banking experience (UBS, Bank of China, Citibank, ABN Amro Private Bank, Standard Bank Private Bank) with 16 years in UBS (including Managing Director, Market Team Head). Keith Lee obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Schulich School of Business and EMBA degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder.
