Standard Chartered Private Bank has appointed Vinay Gandhi as Global Head of South Asian Community and Regional Head of Africa, Middle East & Europe, and hired UBS Foo Tian Ong as Regional Head of Southeast Asia & Head of Singapore. Vinay Gandhi has 30 years of financial industry, joining Standard Chartered Private Bank in 2021 from Bank J. Safra Sarasin (Singapore CEO). Foo Tian Ong has 20 years of private banking experience, joining from UBS (Head of Thailand, the Philippines, NRI & Vietnam). In September 2023, Standard Chartered Private Bank hired JP Morgan Mike Tan as Global Head of Wealth Planning & Family Advisory (25/9/23), leading the group wealth planning & family advisory team in 4 wealth advisory hubs in Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE & Jersey.
