The Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is reviewing $11 billion India Quant Mutual Fund for suspected front-running and leaking to potential beneficiaries, with the authorities raiding Quant Mutual Fund Mumbai & Hyderabad offices. Quant Mutual Funds best performing funds generated +62% to 84% returns in the last 12 months. Front-running is a prohibited practice of placing trades ahead of others (known orders) to take advantage or buying at a lower price or selling at a higher price.
