Crypto venture firm DWF Labs Co-founder & Partner Eugene Lim has been fired for allegedly drugging a woman (Spike drink) at a meeting in Hong Kong (24/10/24). The meeting was for the woman (Hana) to learn more about a potential job opportunity. Eugene Lim was previously was the Head of Business Development at crypto platforms Gemini & Matrixport. Eugene Lim had graduated from the New York University Stern School of Business. DWF Labs (29/10/24): “DWF Labs is aware of the recent and deeply concerning allegations involving one of our partners, who has been accused of inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour. While the matter is under investigation, DWF Labs has decided to dismiss the said partner from management and operational roles effective immediately.
