He has 3 children (2 daughters & 1 son), with his only son Ben Ajahn Siripanyo renounced his claim to his inheritance at age 18 to become buddhist monk (Abbot of Dtao Dum Monastery). Ben Ajahn Siripanyo mother & Ananda Krishnan first wife is Thailand princess Momwajarongse Suprinda Chakraban. Ananda Krishnan also has 2 foundations – Yu Cai Foundation (YCF) & Yu Cai Education Foundation.
