Australia asset manager First Sentier Investors ($134 billion AUM) APAC & emerging market equity fund manager FSSA Investment Managers ($21 billion AUM) has hired 2 investment analysts with ex-Barings Private Equity & India specialist Manya Mishra as Investment Analyst focusing on India equities and ex-Matthews Asia Ziqi Deng as Investment Analyst covering Asia & emerging markets. Announcement (29/4/25): “FSSA Investment Managers is delighted to announce the appointment of two new investment analysts to join the FSSA investment team. Manya Mishra joins as an investment analyst focused on India equities and will relocate from Mumbai to join our Singapore office in July. Manya has 10 years of investment experience, most recently as a senior investment analyst at Arisaig Partners, where she covered consumer businesses and digital platforms in India. Prior to Arisaig, she was an analyst at Barings Private Equity India. Ziqi Deng joins as an investment analyst covering Asia and emerging markets, with a focus on China. Ziqi was previously a global emerging markets portfolio manager at Genesis in London, and at Matthews Asia in San Francisco Ziqi managed a range of Asia and China A Share portfolios. Ziqi will commence in our London office in May and move to Hong Kong in early 2026. As a leading investment team including 15 investment professionals FSSA Investment Managers manages a range of Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets equity strategies on behalf of institutional and wholesale clients globally.
