Adidas & Puma 2 brothers were partners in Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory (Gebrüder Dassler Schuhfabrik), founded by younger brother Adolf Adi”Dassler (Adidas founder) in 1919 with elder brother Rudolf Rudi Dassler (Puma founder) joining in 1924. Both brothers started their own footwear companies (Adidas in 1949 & Puma in 1948) following brothers disputes after World War II.
