Japan billionaire & SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son has been reported to have proposed a United States-Japan joint sovereign wealth fund (SWF) to invest in United States technology & infrastructure. Preliminary discussions has been reported to have taken place between the United States Treasury Department & Japan Ministry of Finance with $300 billion initial capital, and option to open the fund to external investors (Limited Partners) & individual investors.
