United States semiconductor giant Qualcomm ($169 billion market value) has announced to buy UK-listed Canada semiconductor company Alphawave IP Group for $2.4 billion. Alphawave IP Group was founded in 2017 by Tony Pialis, Rajeevan Mahadevan & Jonathan Rogers, and London IPO in 2021 raising $1.2 billion at $4.1 billion (£3.1 billion) valuation.
