Leading private equity firm KKR ($664 billion AUM) has won the bid to buy UK precision solutions company Spectris for $6.4 billion (£4.7 billion) including debt. In 2025 June, United States private equity firm Advent ($101 billion AUM) announced to buy UK precision solutions company Spectris for $5.9 billion (£4.4 billion) including debt. Spectris – Spectris combines precision with purpose, delivering progress for a more sustainable world. We provide critical insights to our customers through premium precision measurement solutions combined with technical expertise and deep domain knowledge.
