Singapore state-owned investment firm Temasek ($288 billion AUM) has issued a scam alert forimpersonation of Temasek in Malaysia on a joint venture with UEM Sunrise for “G&A Affordable Homes Project”, and promoting the sale of apartments in Medini Iskandar.Temasek (27/6/25): “We have been alerted to a scam in Malaysia regarding a purported joint venture between Temasek and UEM Sunrise.The scammers, using the name “G&A Affordable Homes Project”, claim to represent a joint venture between Temasek and UEM Sunrise and are promoting the sale of apartments in Medini Iskandar. They are soliciting personal and financial information from individuals for the purpose of receiving deposits for the housing project.This is a scam and is not associated with Temasek in any way. Temasek is not associated with “G&A Affordable Homes Project”, nor do we have a joint venture with UEM Sunrise … … If you have been contacted by the scammers, you may wish to inform the relevant authorities as soon as possible.Please exercise care and diligence when dealing with parties purporting to represent or be associated with Temasek.
