Hong Kong-listed Link REIT ($14 billion market value) CEO George Hongchoy Kwok-lung has announced his retirement after 16 years since joining Link REIT as CFO in 2009. George Hongchoy Kwok-lung was investment banker at Jardine Fleming, JP Morgan, Rothschild & DBS from 1992 to 2008. George Hongchoy Kwok-lung received $9 million (HKD 70.42 million) salary in 2024, and is Hong Kong-listed companies 3rd highest paid executive in 2024 after AIA President & CEO Lee Yuan Siong $13.6 million (HKD 107 million) & CK Hutchison Co-Managing Director Frank Sixt $11 million (HKD 86.6 million). Link REIT was founded in 2004 by Hong Kong Housing Authority, and IPO on Hong Kong Exchange (HKEX) in 2005. Link REIT current market value is $14.2 billion, and share price is +32.1% YTD, +35% last 12 months & -24.2% last 5 years. In 2025 June, Link REIT was reported to be planning for a Singapore IPO for non-China & Hong Kong properties.
