Singapore Foreign Exchange (FX) market daily average turnover had reached a record $1.27 trillion in 2025 April, comprising of $1.14 trillion Spots, Outright Forwards & Swaps and $133 billion in OTC Currency Derivatives.  Global Foreign Exchange (FX) average trading volume was at $7.5 trillion (FX Spot & OTC Derivatives) in the 2022 Triennial Central Bank Survey of Foreign Exchange & OTC Derivatives Markets.  The 2025 survey (conducted every 3 years) is currently in progress.  Singapore Foreign Exchange Market Committee (SFEMC) – The SFEMC was established in 1986 to foster growth and development of Singapore, with specific focus on foreign exchange, money markets, fixed income and derivatives markets.
