Hong Kong-based Association of Family Offices in Asia (AFO) announced (2/9/25) founder & Chairman Dr Eva Law has passed away. Association of Family Offices in Asia (AFO) authorized Vice Chairman are Louis Poon, Bowie Lam & Eric Poon. Announcement (2/9/25): “Dear Members, Partners, Event Sponsors, and Investors: It is with profound sorrow that the Association announces the recent passing of our beloved Chairman and Founder, Dr. Eva Law. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support and care received from all parties. To ensure the continuity of the Association’s operations and related collaborations, and to safeguard the interests of all members and partners, effective immediately, all cooperative projects, business activities, and legally binding agreements associated with the Association must receive written approval from the registered Vice Chairman of the Association before they can be formally validated and executed. Any activities or agreements conducted without following the aforementioned procedure will not be recognized by the Association, and the Association shall not bear any related legal responsibilities. We kindly urge all investors and partners to confirm with the Vice Chairman prior to initiating any collaborations to protect the interests of all parties involved.
