HSBC 36-year veteran & current Hang Seng Bank COO Vivien Chiu Wai-man has bought a Hong Kong luxury apartment in Hong Kong Island Happy Valley (Beverly Hill on 6 Broadwood Road) for $5.1 million (HKD 40 million).In 2025 August, Hang Seng Bank CEO Diana Ferreira Cesar bought a Hong Kong Island apartment at Flora Garden (Mid-Levels, Tai Hang District) for $3.4 million (HKD 26.6 million).Flora Garden was developed by Hong Kong developer Nan Fung Group in 1987.In 2021, Diana Ferreira Cesar was appointed as Hang Seng Bank CEO.Hang Seng Bank is a subsidiary of HSBC Group.In 2025 October, HSBC ($246 billion market value) proposed as 63% controlling shareholder to buyout Hang Seng Bank for $13.6 billion at $37.2 billion valuation (HKD 290 billion), representing +33% premium to Hang Seng Bank undisturbed 30 days average closing price (HKD 116.25).Hang Seng Bank current market value at $36 billion, with share price +58.4% YTD, +55.8% last 12 months & +27.7% last 5 years.
