Warburg Pincus Partner, Head of Southeast Asia Private Equity & Singapore citizen Saurabh Agarwal has bought a Singapore Good Class Bungalow at Jalan Pelangi (Near Holland Road & Sixth Avenue) for $18.4 million (S$23.9 million). Saurabh Agarwal has a 21-year career at Warburg Pincus (16 years), TPG Global, Singapore Temasek & management consulting firm McKinsey. Saurabh Agarwal – Saurabh N. Agarwal joined Warburg Pincus in 2009 and is based in Singapore, where he relocated from New York in 2016 to focus on the firm’s investment activities in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at McKinsey & Company in New Jersey and New Delhi, and Temasek Holdings in Mumbai. Saurabh is currently a Director of Advance.AI, ABDA Insurance (IDX:ABDA), BFI Finance (IDX: BFI), Circles.Life, Everise, GCash (Mynt), MoMo, Oona Insurance and Techcombank (HOSE:TCB), and previously served on the boards of several companies, including AAG (HKG:2686), Converge ICT (PSE: CNVRG), Competitive Power Ventures, RS Energy, and Trident. He holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Microelectronics from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
