Ex-HSBC Head of Philanthropy Services for North Asia & Ogier Global Head of Private Wealth Jacqueline Loh has passed away in 2025 October (26/10/25). Jacqueline Loh has a 31-year career in leading law firms, financial institutions, private banking, trust services & family office including at Baker McKenzie, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC & Ogier Global. Jacqueline joined the Ogier family in 2020 and served as Global Service Line Head for Private Wealth in Ogier Global, making a significant impact through her expertise and dedication. Beyond her professional achievements, Jacqueline was a devoted mother and will be fondly remembered for her extraordinary kindness and generosity of spirit. She freely shared her wisdom, fostered meaningful connections, and treated colleagues not only as teammates but as friends. Her encouragement and genuine support helped others to thrive. On behalf of everyone at Ogier, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Jacqueline’s family.” Ogier Global Head of Private Wealth Jacqueline Loh Profile – Jacqueline, who was named as one of the Top 10 Professionals in China and Hong Kong last year, works with Ogier’s legal and corporate administration teams as a trusted advisor to HNWI and UHNWI clients in the Asian region. Jacqueline is a Member of Law Society of Upper Canada, Law Society of Hong Kong and Law Society of England and Wales and Member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She is a former Chairman of STEP’s Hong Kong branch and continues to have material involvement as Council Member. Ogier is a Platinum STEP Employer Partner. Jacqueline has numerous accolades to her name, including being named in The Citywealth 2018 IFC Power Women Top 200 and the Citywealth 2019 Top 10 Professionals in China and Hong Kong. Clients have described Jacqueline as “one of those rare professionals who understands both the tax structuring aspects and the fiduciary responsibilities of being a discretionary trustee”, who offers “excellent and high quality advice”. Jacqueline has specialised in the private client industry for more than 20 years, with experience as a trust and tax lawyer Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong before moving into the private banking sector. Jacqueline worked for Standard Chartered and LGT before joining HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited, where she set up and managed private trusts for UHNW families in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Before leaving HSBC she was Managing Director and head of the Philanthropy team. Jacqueline, global head of Ogier Global’s Private Wealth services, specialises in the private client industry with more than 20 years’ experience.
