France luxury giant LVMH (Watch Division) with $370 billion market value has bought a minority stake (Investment) in Japan Citizen Watch Co. subsidiary Switzerland watch manufacturer La Joux-Perret, which was acquired by Citizen Watch Co. in 2012. La Joux-Perret – Based in La Chaux-de-Fonds and employing around 140 people, La Joux-Perret is a Swiss subcontractor renowned for designing and producing high-quality movements. Its expertise covers automatic movements, complications, and high-precision solar quartz calibers. Supplying some of the most prestigious watch brands, it combines tradition and innovation while controlling the entire value chain: from development to final assembly, including manufacturing and decorating its own movements. Since its acquisition by Citizen Group in 2012, La Joux-Perret benefits from industrial stability and international openness while preserving its Swiss identity and creative independence. LVMH Group – LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton is present in the Wines & Spirits sector through brands including Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon, Veuve Clicquot, Krug, Ruinart, Mercier, Château d’Yquem, Domaine du Clos des Lambrays, Château Cheval Blanc, Colgin Cellars, Hennessy, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Belvedere, Woodinville, Volcán de Mi Tierra, Chandon, Cloudy Bay, Terrazas de los Andes, Cheval des Andes, Newton, Bodega Numanthia, Ao Yun, Château d’Esclans, and Château Galoupet, Joseph Phelps, and Château Minuty.
