U.S. Bancorp ($84 billion market value) has announced to buy United States top 10 broker BTIG for $1 billion in cash & share deal ($725 million upfront in cash & shares, $275 million cash over 3 years subject to targets). BTIG was founded in 2005 by Steven Starker & Scott Kovalik.
