Japan Mitsubishi Corp ($95 billion market value) has announced to buy United States shale gas business from Aethon Energy Management ($9 billion deployed) & existing shareholders (Include Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, RedBird Capital Partners) for $5.2 billion, with Mitsubishi Corp & Aethon Energy Management forming a strategic alliance. The shale gas primary location is in Haynesville Shale Formation.
