China Aluminium Corporation of China (Chalco) with $33 billion market value & Australia mining giant Rio Tinto ($154 billion market value) have announced to buy 68.596% stake in Brazil aluminium company CBA (Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio) for $902.6 million representing +21.2% premium to 20-day Weighted Average Trading Price (28/1/26), and will launch tender offer for remaining shares. CBA (Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio) was founded in 1941 by the Ermírio de Moraes family (Votorantim Group). CBA Companhia Brasileira de Alumínio) – We are CBA.
